Hyderabad’s Akbari Ground to host MQM-P’s public gathering

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will hold its public rally today at Hyderabad’s Akbari ground.

According to reports from the venue, preparations for the public gathering have been completed.

Stage and chairs have been set up for the leaders and workers for the party by the local party organisers.

Speaking to journalists, MQM-P leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that the rally will prove that the party is back in commanding position in the urban Sindh.

“Our public gathering’s success is as certain as sunset and sunrise. We have sorted out all our limitations. Today we are facing no allegations,” he added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Sarzameen Party leader Mustafa Kamal taunted the MQM-Pakistan leader by saying that he has turned his party into ‘Mummy Qaumi Movement’, an obvious reference to the sudden rise of Dr Sattar’s mother’s role in party’s policy matters.

“He (Dr Sattar) calls his 2,000 participants jalsa, as a gathering of millions,” he claimed.
