LAHORE: Former Pakistan captain and opener Ramiz Raja on Thursday visited the Pakistan Under 19 World Cup bound camp to share some tips with the young guns of Pakistan.
He was visiting the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore to give a pep talk to the youngsters who have been selected for the U-19 World Cup to be played in New Zealand in January next year. Raja talked about the mental games and the importance of psychological strength on the cricket field. Raja was part of the side that won the only ODI World Cup Pakistan has won.
Earlier, PCB announced a 15-member squad for the upcomming ICC Under-19 World Cup. The U-19 team will feature in a three-match ODI series against Australia on December 27, 29 and 31, 2017 and later will travel to New Zealand to play two ODI matches on January 3 and January 5, 2018.
The team will then feature in the ICC U-19 World Cup starting from January 13, 2018 in New Zealand. The team will depart for Australia on December 21, 2017.
