SIBI: An earthquake of mild intensity jolted district Sibi and surrounding areas of the district on Thursday; however, no causality or property loss was reported so far.
According to the geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), tremors measuring 3.5 on Richter scale were felt in district Sibi and its surroundings.
The shocks caused panic among the people of the area who came rushing out of their homes, reciting Quranic verses.
The centre of the quake was stated to be 80-kilometre north-east of Sibi.
