LAHORE: Premier Energy (Pvt) Ltd. and South Eastern Regional College (SERC) Lisburn joined hands for a collaboration in the fields of solar energy, electrical installation and environmental technologies.
The collaboration will begin with the provision of international exposure to various training programs and present a chance to become an integral part of the Technical Training Institute (TTI) to be established in Pakistan, said Premier Energy Country Head Mr Daniyal Siddiqui.
Addressing a simple but impressive ceremony here at the company’s head office on Thursday, he said that the collaboration is expected to result in the planning, execution and operations of the TTI in Pakistan, providing accredited vocational training programs while at the same time meeting the needs of the industry.
The field of renewable energy despite all its potential has not been able to gain its due popularity in Pakistan primarily due to the lack of equipment standardization, proper training and awareness. “Keeping the scenario in mind, Premier Energy aims to revolutionize the energy sector through the provision of superior quality products and exceptional services to all its clients”, said Daniyal Siddiqui.
As flag bearers, the company maintains a history of organizing training sessions, conferences, seminars and awareness programs aimed at promoting the use of renewable energy resources and also motivating and preparing young, dynamic and well-qualified individuals to lead the industry that results in changing the energy consumption patterns of the state.
In the same regard, Premier Energy has joined hands with SERC and is hopeful to not only produce well-trained individuals through the accredited vocational training programs but also to lead to Pakistan’s energy independence through the effective use and promotion of renewable energy resources.
During the visit of Team SERC lead by Mr Paul at the company’s Lahore Head Office, Premier Energy Manager Business Development Ms Haania Ali briefed the media partners regarding the significance of this collaboration.
She said, “This will be crucial to the provision of sustainable energy solutions and will result in the energy independence of the country. We thank SERC for providing us with the appropriate platform and required training to ensure the establishment of a fully functional internationally accredited renewable energy training institute in Pakistan with the name ‘PremSol’. We believe together we can and together we will co-build a greener tomorrow for generations to come.”
