LAHORE: An assistant professor of the University of the Punjab who had gone missing in 2015 has returned home after two years, reported a private media outlet.
According to the reports, the previously missing teacher at PU has resumed his duties at the Institute of Administrative Sciences.
According to Ghalib Ata’s wife, nearly 20 persons raided his house and took him away. The unidentified persons also took away his cell phones, laptops.
His family took a sigh of relief this week when he suddenly reached home after a gap of two years. None of the members of his family agreed to comment on the development.
The case of the missing professor had been heard by the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearance and was later sent to Provincial Task Force (PTF) Punjab.
