Three outlaws held; 15 kg hashish and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Noon police station has arrested three outlaws and recovered 15 kilograms of hashish and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said that a special team headed by Noon police Station House Officer, Inspector Nazar Qureshi was conducting checking at a bus stop near Jhugi Syedan. During the checking, the police team arrested two drug pushers identified as Raza, a resident of Peshawar and Latif, a resident of Charsada, besides recovering 8 kilograms and 9 kilograms of hashish from them respectively.

Meanwhile, another accused criminal Hanan, a resident of Qila Gujar Singh was also arrested and 30 bore and 9 mm pistols were recovered from his possession.

Khana police ASI Shakeel Ahmed arrested two motorbike lifters identified as Imran and Aziz besides recovering a stolen bike (VN-359) from them.

Sabzi Mandi police Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar Baig arrested Rafaqat Nazir for having 220 grams of heroin.

Shehzad town police station ASI Afzal arrested Humayun Khawar for possessing a 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Rasheed nabbed Suleman for his involvement in aerial firing.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed people and further investigation is underway.
