Fire brigade station attacked, two personnel injured

KARACHI: Two firefighters were injured after unidentified persons attacked the fire brigade station in Nazimabad area of the metropolis on Tuesday.

According to sources, the fire brigade station was attacked after firefighters refused to leave the premises to extinguish a fire erupted at Star Print factory near railway gate in Mujahid Colony on the pretext of having no water. The attackers targeted officer Mustafa Azeem and operator Nadeem Ahmad during their assault and subjected them to injury.

According to fire brigade sources, the fire had erupted at an oil shop in Mujahid Colony in North Nazimabad.

  1. All these newspapers are full of lies and these fire brigade stations and their officers are saying crap. I witnessed the fire yesterday and easily say that fire brigades reached the factory THREE HOURS LATE. They all give these kind of stories to hide their serious INCOMPETENCY. The event yesterday has not only resulted in loss of approximately 60 Million but also the loss of employment of more than 150 people. SHAME ON YOU ALL GOVERNMENT STAKE HOLDERS!!!
