KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair on Sunday extended his felicitations to the people of the province on the Sindhi Culture Day.
He said that culture was the identity of a people and their region.
Zubair also said that the Sindhi topi and ajrak were the cultural identities of Sindhi people, adding that Sindh was the land of Sufi saints whose teachings promoted the spirit of brotherhood, amity and tolerance.
The governor said that on the culture day, the people of the province highlighted their centuries-old civilization which augured well.
He stated that the topi and ajrak were not only the cultural identities of Sindh but also symbols of amity and brotherhood.
