ISLAMABAD: Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), under the Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme, would provide vast sports grounds to the public-sector schools of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Through this initiative, the government will promote physical activities among the students, said CADD Parliamentary Secretary, Maiza Hameed on Monday.
In an exclusive talk with APP, she said that the students would now have sports facilities at their schools besides quality education.
“The Phase-II of the education reforms programme would be completed in the current month”, she said adding that the government in its present tenure would complete all phases.
It is pertinent to mention here that around 423 public sectors schools and colleges of were being upgraded under the reforms programme by providing them with modern educational facilities to raise the standard of education.
The renovation work of around 23 public schools has been completed while the up-gradation of another 200 would be completed within this month. However, 200 more schools would be modernized in Phase-III of the reforms programme.
