PTI celebrates Sindhi culture day, promises to purge it of corruption, exploitation

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh on Sunday said that they were proud to celebrate Sindhi Cultural Day, adding that they pledge to develop the province and purge it from corruption and exploitation.

According to details, PTI celebrated the Sindh culture day in all towns and cities of the province. On the occasion, PTI workers wore Sindhi caps and ajraks and danced on tunes of cultural songs.

Sindh PTI Senior Executive Vice President Haleem Adil Sheikh led a big rally in Karachi. The rally, escorted by a Caravan Sindh bus and after marching through different roads, reached Karachi Press Club where it was welcomed warmly. On reaching the press club, Haleem Adil distributed sweets among citizens and journalists.

Speaking on the occasion, Haleem Adil said that the culture of Sindh was over a thousand years old and that they were proud to celebrate the day. He said that all people living in Sindh were Sindhis.

He also conveyed PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s congratulations to all Sindhis on this day. He said that a “new Sindh” like “new Pakistan” was inevitable, adding that the present corrupt rulers of Sindh had left no stones unturned to loot and plunder the province and deprive the citizens of even basic facilities.

He announced that Imran Khan would visit Sindh on December 25 and the party would hold a big rally in Karachi. He said that PTI loved Sindh, and that they would sacrifice their lives rather than allow Sindh to be left to the mercy of corrupt rulers.

Haleem Adir said that when Sindh prospered, the whole of Pakstan would prosper with it, adding that PTI would devise a comprehensive programme in order to put Sindh and its people on the path of progress and development.
