SWAT: An earthquake of mild intensity jolted Swat and surrounding areas on Sunday but no causality or property loss was reported.
According to the geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), tremors measuring 3.1 on Richter scale were felt in Swat city and surrounding areas.
People of the areas where the quake was felt, rushed out of their homes and shops in panic but no human or property loss was reported.
The epicentre of the quake was stated to be in the mountainous area of Mingora, deep inside earth crust.
