LAHORE: Provincial Minister of Human Rights Minority Affairs, Khalil Tahir Sandhu, has taken notice of the murder of a six-year-old girl in Faisalabad.
According to a handout here on Saturday, he visited the victim’s home where parents of the murdered child appealed to the minister for quick action on which he assured them that the accused would not be spared at any cost.
He directed the CPO Faisalabad to immediately arrest the accused and initiate a legal action against the criminal.
The minister also instructed the CPO to submit a detailed report in two days.
Sandhu said that the protection of human rights was a prime duty of the provincial government and such type of incidents would not be tolerated at any cost.
