Rajwana pledges all-out help to special children

MULTAN: Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana on Thursday vowed to pay special attention to educational institutions for special children in southern Punjab.

Addressing a meeting of the patron committee of the Government Shadab Institute for Special Children at Circuit House, he promised to help special children get jobs in government departments as per their qualification.

He stressed the need for providing quality education to special children in their schools and directed the authorities concerned to overcome teachers’ shortage in special schools.

The governor also ordered for designing wheel-chairs for special children as per their particular needs.

Earlier, XEN buildings department briefed the governor about the construction work going on at different schools for special education.
