LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Andleeb Abbas has filed a petition through Advocate Shiraz Zaka in Lahore High Court (LHC) to call upon Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Director General (DG) to submit an explanation regarding the extensive cutting of trees in the city.
The petition states that trees have been cut down in huge numbers for developmental projects and no trees are being planted in replacement to that.
It has also been added that PHA DG is wasting court’s time in this matter by not submitting timely replies so and should he should be called upon on personal level for an explanation with all record.
