ASTORE: Building and Roads Executive Engineer Sardar Alam visited upper areas of Astore where he inspected various uplift projects and directed contractors to ensure timely completion without compromising on quality of works.
He visited the remote Perishing Valley, Hussainabad Rahamka Valley and inspected progress of different ongoing roads and building schemes, says a press release.
Alam inspected construction materials and structures with maps and directed the contractors to ensure transparency and quality of works.
He said that a policy of zero tolerance against corruption has been adopted and contractors found guilty in cases of financial irregularities would be brought to task.
He expressed satisfaction in the ongoing construction works and directed the contractors to expedite pace to ensure its completion within stipulated time.
