Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed sorrow over the demise of the father of martyr Lieutenant Arsalan.
“COAS deeply saddened on demise of f/o Shaheed Lt Arsalan. Not only by soldiers, sacrifices by outr families continue,” said a tweet posted by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major-General Asif Ghafoor.

Lieutenant Arsalan Alam, 22, was martyred on September 23 in a terrorist attack on a Pakistani post in Rajgal Valley, Khyber Agency. Alam, who was the commanding officer of the post got hit by a bullet while performing his duties and embraced Shahadat.
