LAHORE: Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYR) chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi has announced that his party will actively take part in 2018 general elections and that political power of his party has already been established after by-election of NA-120 in Lahore.

TLYR chief expressed these opinions after reaching Lahore late Tuesday night after terminating the 22 days long picket in Islamabad. He was welcomed by a huge number of party workers and sympathisers.

The caravan of Khadim Hussain Rizvi entered the city through Shahdara after which he made his way to Data Darbar Chowk and addressed to his workers.

While addressing to his party workers, Rizvi criticised the federal government for killing innocent persons in Islamabad operation. He said that the sit-in was terminated due to assurances by trusted guarantors. He added that the government will have to answer for all those who got martyred in Islamabad operation.

Khadim Hussain Rizvi stated that there is no value of negotiations with the government and that they will have to pay back for the blood of martyrs. He also refused to take any sort of aid from the government for injured and martyred persons.
