Movie/TV star, famed musician and versatile actor Fawad Khan turns 36 on Wednesday. He was born on November 29, 1981, in Karachi.
Fawad burst onto the local scene with his alternative rock band, Entity Paradigm, in the early 2000s. He became a household name in music after the release of the band’s debut album, ‘Irtiqa’, in 2003; at the same time, Fawad’s acting skills continued to make a jaw-dropping impression all over the country in the sit-com drama, Jutt and Bond.
He found unprecedented fame due to his Television serials and his shows such as ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and ‘Humsafar’ still boast of a cult following in the predominantly female fan base.
Fawad Khan is also one of the few Pakistani actors who found success across the border as well. He made his debut with Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat and made a space in the Indian audience with his flawless acting. In Kapoor and Sons, he played the role of a homosexual, which was a shock factor for the audience.He was also seen in Karan Johar’s directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in a cameo as Anushka Sharma’s boyfriend.
Fawad appeared on Pepsi Battle of the Bands (2017) as a judge, which marked his return to music. His upcoming works include Maula Jatt 2 and Albela Rahi.
