SIALKOT: Unidentified armed motorcyclists gunned a Police Sub-Inspector (SI) on Tuesday and fled the scene.
Police said that unknown motorcyclists sprayed bullets at SI Imdad Shah, deployed outside GEPCO (Gujranwala Electric Power Company ) office in Hajipura area of Sialkot.
As a result of firing the police officer was killed on spot and the assailants sped away from the scene after committing the murder.
The body was shifted to Government Sardar Begum Teaching Hospital for postmortem and after registering a case against unidentified murderers, the police have started the investigation.
