LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) member of the core committee and former Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said the “Kings of Corruption” have become a burden on the nation and democracy.
While addressing the delegations of workers on Tuesday, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the people who abuse democracy, constitution and national institutions are enemies of our country. “The Nation will not forgive them,” he added.
PML-N doesn’t want to be held accountable for their looting and money laundering, but they are left with no other option now.
PTI has set a much better standard by fighting against corruption. He said that corruption is the biggest problem of the country and the root cause of all national problems. He added that whenever corrupt people are held accountable, they start abusing the national institutions and that this isn’t in the national interest of the country.
He also stated that PMLN must give an answer of their corruption instead of launching assaults on national institutions adding that the courts will acquit them if they are innocent, otherwise prison is the fate of corrupt people.
The former governor Punjab demanded strict penal liability for corrupt people and called on the institutions to place a lifetime disqualification ban on corrupt people. He said that such people must be made an example for others so that no one dares to loot the national exchequer.
