LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) police has arrested 134 culprits including 34 proclaimed offenders and recovered weapons from their possession during last week.
According to police, the team seized 160 kg unhygienic meat, narcotics including 17,292 grams charas, 1,310 grams opium and 1,042 litres of liquor from the culprits.
The officials handed over the accused and stolen items to local police for further legal action.
The PHP team also recovered eight children—Areeba Bibi, Muntazar Mahdi, Ali Ahmed, Ghulam Qadeer, Rihan Gull, M.Shaban, Farooq and Shoaib, later reuniting them with their parents.
