BADIN: A young girl from Golarchi on Monday sternly protested against police and her step brothers for depriving her of her property and demanded protection from the government.
According to reports, the young girl, namely Shabana d/o Munwar Hussain Arain, while protesting outside the Badin Press Club alleged that her step brothers were refusing to hand over her share from her father’s property, and also alleged that Golarchi police was supporting her opponents.
Talking to reporters, she said that her step brothers, including Hussain Umair, Zubair, Adnan and others, have illegally occupied her property and the occupiers were unwilling to hand over her share from her father’s property.
She alleged that she registered a complaint with the local police which refused to entertain her plea. She alleged that the accused had attacked her house and tried to murder her in a foiled bid. She also alleged that the police refused to provide her protection.
She demanded from the higher authorities to help her get her share in the property, along with providing her police security.
