LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Bar will be observing ‘Black Day’ on Monday as a reaction against government’s decision to launch an operation against Tehreek-e-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah.
Lawyers will be taking part in pickets and protests and hearings will not be proceeded in courts except for important cases.
According to reports, Punjab Bar Council will also be taking part in the protest.
The decision to observe the black day was reached earlier in an emergency meeting of the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Saturday where the lawyers decided to launch a countrywide protest against the operation in Islamabad.
