ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday appealed to the protesters at Islamabad Faizabad Interchange to register their protest in a peaceful manner.

“Finality of Prophethood is a crucial element of our belief; hence I appeal to the protesters to remain peaceful,” Imran said.

In another statement, the PTI chief said that he had concerns over the worsening situation of the country due to the government’s inability to tackle the situation.

Imran questioned the government’s reluctance to make the Zafarul Haq committee’s report public, despite the fact that it admitted the mistake. “Why wasn’t necessary action taken against those found responsible by the committee?”

Imran also delayed Karachi visit due to the metropolitan’s situation, where protests against the crackdown on the Faizabad sit-ins were being staged.
