LAHORE: Construction of Gurumangat Underpass has been amplified in order to meet the looming deadline.
According to reports, authorities have directed the labor force to work round the clock for speedy completion of the project that was delayed previously due to land acquisition and gas pipeline shifting process.
The 600-meter long underpass was ranked among the significant development projects in Punjab. The delay caused massive disturbance in traffic flow and hindered daily routine activities.
Engineers and other co-workers, keeping in view the extra effort being put into the completion of the project and the all civil work nearly finished, are determined to open the underpass for the public on a priority basis.
