LAHORE: The police have arrested two plagiarists along with accomplices under Copy Right Act over manufacturing tyre puncture material infringing on another company’s copyrights.
According to the sources here on Friday, on the complaint of administration of renowned tyre puncture material manufacturers, Elephant Cold Patch (ECP), the police arrested Ch Tariq Mehmood and Sarwar for illegal use of trademark, logo and name of the company; thus deceiving the consumers.
The Nolakha police have registered a case against the culprits by recovering all fake material and initiated an enquiry against them. The ECP administration warned all plagiarists to avoid the use of its trademark, logo and name of the company otherwise legal action would be taken against them.
