LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is not in need of Zardari’s support.
Talking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly on Thursday, he said that all institutions, including Pakistan Army, are on one page over the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat issue.
He said that no undemocratic force is behind the Tehreek Labaik. “The nation will not pardon Asif Zardari if he hampered the constitutional amendment and the elections,” he said. “Nawaz Sharif is seeking help from Asif Zardari for democracy and a constitutional amendment, not for himself.”
The minister said that 2018 will be the last year for the politics of Imran Khan. “The Captain has been active as a tool for the last four years,” he added.
