LAHORE: The investigation of Mustafa Town Scheme has brought forth massive fraud that had been going on for the last four years under the supervision of Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
According to reports, LDA Director General (DG) Zahid Akhtar Zaman ordered an enquiry into the Mustafa Town Scheme which yielded results and fake files of around 700 under construction houses within the LDA records have been identified.
Similarly, during the investigation, it was revealed that property worth more than Rs 7 million has been already been sold and as per the information by LDA Record Sifting Cell, allocation of 700 plots was also done.
After a hiatus of 4 years, LDA has now decided to take action against the scam of Mustafa Town Scheme after due investigations are to be completed.
