PESHAWAR: A doctor at Peshawar’s Khyber Teaching Hospital was sacked after a nurse accused him of harassment on Thursday.  The doctor, who had been working at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), was fired after allegations of harassment by a nurse surfaced on Wednesday.

After the allegations, the hospital administration formed an inquiry committee which is currently holding meetings to investigate the matter. Earlier, Oscar winning director Sharmeen Obaid Chinnoy had accused a doctor at Agha Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi of harassing her sister. In that case too, AKUH had suspended the doctor until the inquiry committee came to a conclusion.
