LAHORE: At least eight suspects were taken into custody during a joint search operation conducted by police, Rangers and intelligence agencies personnel in different parts of the metropolis on Tuesday night.
According to details, the search operation was carried out in Nawankot, Sherakot and Muslim Town areas of the city. The law enforcement agencies checked hostels, hotels, guest houses, flats and bus stands in these areas. House-to-house search operation was also conducted at some places.
The law enforcement agencies used a biometric device for the identification of the residents, and arrested eight suspects who failed to provide any identification documents.
