DHAKA: Pakistan fast bowler Hassan Ali has once again shown his mettle by taking a five-wicket haul against a batting line-up that included Kumar Sangakara, Evin Lewis, Shakib Al Hassan and Kieron Pollard.

Hassan Ali didn’t start off well in the field as he dropped the explosive Evin Lewis for 0 in the first over. However, he made amends straightaway by slipping a yorker through his defence. He picked up Mehedi Maroof’s wicket in a similar manner to leave Dhaka Dynamites struggling on 12/2.

Sunil Narine, then played an explosive innings 76 off 45 balls to take Dhaka out of the abyss they had fallen in to. However, Sangakara’s run out at a crucial stage in the game resulted in Dhaka’s slide.

Wickets fell in quick succession and by the time the fiery Hassan came back, he only needed to wipe off Dhaka’s tail. He ended with mind boggling figures of 5/20 in 3.3 overs taking his tally to a whopping six wickets in just two matches.

In reply Comilla Victorians stuttered in chase of 128, but finally made it over the line courtesy Shoaib Malik measured 54 off 53 balls, anchoring a chase against Dhaka’s dangerous bowling line-up.
