KARACHI: As many as 16 more dengue fever cases were reported in Karachi, taking the number of reported cases to 505 in the city since November 1, 2017.
According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Programme for Dengue in Sindh, at least 136 new dengue fever cases surfaced in Karachi last week, taking the patient toll to 2,452 in Sindh since January 1, 2017.
In Karachi, 2,432 cases have been reported throughout the city. A total of 11 people including seven males and four females died of dengue fever in the city this year so far.
A total of 2,452 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province so far, out of which 2,232 in Karachi and 20 were reported from rest of the province.
