LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, while expressing grief over the murder of Punjabis in Balochistan, said such incidents were not in line with the traditions of Pakistan.
Talking to the bereaved families and later with the reporters on Sunday, Elahi said that his party equally shared the grief and sorrow of the victim families.
Criticising the government for lack of enough employment opportunities in the country, had it provided employment opportunities to the people in the country then their [deceased] families would not be in mourning.
Responding to the questions, Elahi said until the rulers did not create maximum employment opportunities in the country, people will be forced to go abroad in search of employment through illegal means; and the future of the country will continue to be falling into the hands of the agents—involved in human trafficking.
The PML leader, while expressing condolence and sympathies with the parents of the youth– hailing from Gujrat — on a phone call, said that “your sorrow is our sorrow, such great loss is irreparable” as he prayed to Allah to grant solace and patience to the bereaved families.
On November 15, fifteen bodies were found in Buleda area of Turbat tehsil in Kech district of Balochistan.
The bodies bore bullet wounds and were of people from different parts of Punjab, including Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Sialkot.
