Mega corruption scandals, NAB seeks details of PML-Q leadership’s assets

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore, sought on Friday details of assets belonging to Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) leaders and their families.

According to reports, NAB ordered submission of assets belonging to Chaudhry Shujaat Husain, his cousin Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and their spouses and children from different departments.

The corruption case against the Chaudhrys of Gujrat is among the 179 mega corruption scandals, a list of which was compiled by NAB and submitted to the Supreme Court in July 2015.

Shujat and Pervaiz had recorded their statements before the NAB on November 6th.
