Karan Johar turns RJ

The 45-year-old filmmaker-actor-anchor Karan Johar mentioned his elocution skills being spot on since his school days in his autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy. His statements in the book are supported by the success of his popular talk show Koffee With Karan which has hosted almost all Bollywood superstars. His witty one-liners while hosting Bollywood award also add to his portfolio. And now, after ruling the television in the chat show category, the filmmaker is all set to foray into the territory of radio shows.

KJo, who has superhit Bollywood movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil to his credit, has now forayed into the radio. The filmmaker has launched his show Calling Karan for Ishq 104.8 FM. The show will air from Monday to Friday and twice a day in a week. On the show, Karan will be solving the problems of his callers pertaining to relationships and heart.

In the teaser of the show, which Karan has shared on his Twitter handle, he is seen in tears as one of the callers pours out his heart. He is reminded by another RJ that on the radio one cannot see his emotions and thus he has to talk.

Sharing the teaser, Karan wrote, “Excited to be for the first time on radio.. Here is a little tease to what is coming up.. #CallingKaran @IshqFM.”

Talking about the show, Karan said, “This show is about love, relationships, emotions and lust.”

Since we already know how things brew up when a celebrity has a Koffee with Karan, it will be interesting to see the filmmaker play love guru to his listeners.
