LAHORE: Superintendent Police (SP) Headquarters Atif Nazeer announced punishments for 161 police officers over absence from duty and irresponsible approach.
Accordng to reports, SP Atif Nazeer awarded the punishment due to negligence of police department in looking after official vehicles as majority of patrolling vehicles were kept in dreadful conditions and were collecting rust.
Atif Nazeer also showed his displeasure at the officers were absent from duty hours negatively affected the well-being of entire police department and caused damage to its reputation.
