BAHAWALPUR: A nine-year-old boy was sexually assaulted who worked at a barber shop by his employer in the Baghdadul Jadeed police jurisdiction on Thursday.
Father of the victim, Allah Ditta registered a complaint with the police and stated that his nine-year-old son worked at a barber shop owned by Shakir. On Monday, while he was in Karachi for work, the accused allegedly locked Naseer in a room where he sexually abused the boy multiple times.
He also beat and threatened to kill the minor if he told anyone about the incident.
After Shakir was confronted by the father of the victim, he allegedly admitted to his wrongdoing, but also threatened the father with severe consequences if he informed the police.
Police registered the case and sent the tests of the victim to the laboratory, while check posts were alerted. The cops were told by an informant that Shakir was fleeing, after which check post in charge Malik Akram conducted a raid along and arrested the criminal.
