KARACHI: District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Central Chairman Rehan Hashmi on Wednesday said that special attention was being paid to developing and maintaining playgrounds and parks in the district so as to facilitate the people.
He said this while visiting different areas of the district along with Deputy Commissioner Asif Jan Siddiqi, said a statement.
The chairman said that practical steps were also being taken to improve the sanitary conditions of the district.
During the visit, Rehan Hashmi also reviewed the beautification and development works of parks and playgrounds.
He directed the elected representatives and officials to take steps to create awareness among masses about the importance of cleanliness.
