LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a Pakistani checkpost in Bajaur Agency, near the Pak-Afghan border.
The CM expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Captain Junaid Hafeez and sepoy Rahim, while paying rich tributes to their bravery in the line of duty.
He also extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
Shehbaz said that the martyrs have sacrificed their precious lives for the motherland, adding that they were heroes of the nation for making a great sacrifice to safeguard the borders of the country.
