LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant for Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) chief Wajid Ali Kazmi on account of non- appearance before the court in a pending case.
Justice Shahid Jamil Khan issued the arrest warrant after Kazmi was summoned repeatedly before the LHC in a case pertaining to the issuance of an inflated electricity bill by LESCO to a private company.
The court has ordered the accused to appear before the court alongside documents on Nov 17.
