BANNU: At least three security personnel and two civilians have been reported injured as a result of an explosion in Bannu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
As per reports, the bomb which was planted in a motorcycle parked along the road exploded when the security personnel vehicle approached the site.
The security personnel were reported to be en route to Jani Khel when the incident happened near Noral area.
The injured had been shifted to Combined Military Hospital Bannu following the incident, besides the security forces throwing a cordon around the area.
Meanwhile, the fecurity forces have arrested fifteen suspects during search operation in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency. The security forces also defused an improvised explosive device.
