LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mahmood-ur-Rasheed has demanded polygraph test of the members of the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s family to detect the lies in statements given in connection with the Hudabiya Papers corruption case.

He also called Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s confession of Rs 1.2 billion money as proof of involvement of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Talking to media informally at Punjab Public Secretariat, Mahmood blamed Sharif family and Ishaq Dar for introducing money laundering in the country. The entire Sharif family from Mian Sharif to Sabeha Abbas is nominated in the Hudabiya Papers corruption reference of the National Accountability Bureau, he added.

The PTI leader also demanded including the name of all the persons included in Hudabiya reference in the Exit Control List as well as summoning the Qazi family from London.

Disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif is hatching conspiracies against democracy and national institutions to defend the wealth that he and his entire family has looted, he added.

  1. Sharifs shall pass this test because telling lies is embedded in their nature. Heads are empty, that is why I say nature. It is natural in the family.
