Civil judge pays surprise visit to civil hospital


NAUSHEHRO FEROZE: On the directives of district and sessions judge, 3rd Civil Judge Ghulam Madni Memon on Saturday paid a surprise visit to the civil hospital and reviewed medical facilities being provided to the people of the district.

The civil judge during his visit inspected different wards including operation theatre, emergency ward, paediatrics ward, OPD, ICU and also checked attendance register of the employees. He was briefed by the Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Mohammad Iqbal Ansari about the facilities being provided to the patients at the hospital.

The judge inquired about the health of the patients admitted in the different wards of the hospital and directed the administration to provide all medicines and other facilities to them without any discrimination.

He also directed MS to ensure attendance of all doctors as well as other staff, and maintain cleanliness in the hospital. The MS informed the judge about lack of doctors and other staff and budgetary problems due to which all medicines could not be provided to the patients at the hospital.

Ghulam Madni Memon also visited dialysis centre and met with the patients admitted there. In-charge of the centre, Dr Ayaz Ali Memon briefed him about the facilities being provided to the patients.

On the occasion, the patients complained the about lack of specialist doctors in the centre and demanded that specialist doctors should be appointed so that they could be able to get proper treatment.
