Passengers at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport in Karachi are facing distress due to mismanagement of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) staff and the airport authorities.
According to passengers at the airport, PIA flights from Karachi to different cities including Multan, Islamabad and Lahore have been disrupted and there seems to be a chaotic scene at the airport.
Some of the PIA flights were delayed and then subsequently cancelled with no reason and no announcement from the staff, while other flights were merged. One agitated passenger at the airport referred to the staff as “headless chickens” in a text message sent to Pakistan Today.
