LAHORE – Pitching what might turn out to be the business idea of 2018, Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, has advised Bollywood star Aamir Khan to make her biopic.
Talking exclusively to The Dependent Maryam Nawaz confirmed that she had indeed sent Aamir an email that not only had the idea and the plot for Secret Superstar II, but the entire screenplay as well.
“I got very emotional watching Secret Superstar. I think 98% of it was my story, and I can relate to the struggle of a self-made independent woman,” Maryam said.
“However, since some of it was lacking, I thought my biopic would make for a great sequel. Both biopics and sequels are doing great in Bollywood, so this is a sure shot win.”
Sharing a few teasers of the script, Maryam revealed that it would not only highlight her political struggles, but also her role in the family.
“It’s a story of an amazing daughter who is an even more amazing mother, and yet the most amazing successor to the country’s largest political party,” she said.
Sources confirm that Aamir Khan has forwarded the script to Rohit Shetty who has told his aides that he will use the storyline for Golmaal 5.
