Judiciary is being reorganized at modern lines: CJ LHC

LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Mansur Ali Shah has stated that rule of law is essential to building a justice based system.

He was talking to media representatives in the Judicial Complex Rawalpindi and stated that out of 6882 cases 4460 were decided by the arbitration centres in Punjab.

The chief justice stated that every District and Sessions judge should play a role of chief mediator in their respective districts and that judiciary is being reorganized at modern lines.

He said that national institutions should perform their duties within their ambits and that with a decrease of cases in the court peoples difficulties can be eased.

The function was attended by judges of the Rawalpindi Division, representatives of civil society and students and teachers of law colleges.
