Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar said that bench and bar are an integral part of judicial system.
He was talking to the outgoing members of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) here on Monday. He said it was incumbent upon the bench and bar to address legal needs and expectations of litigant parties by providing speedy justice to them.
The chief justice said the role of bar was very crucial for administration of justice, while goal of dispensation of justice could not be fulfilled without bar’s cooperation. At the end of meeting, the CJP presented shield to the outgoing cabinet members as token of respect and gesture of goodwill.
