ISLAMABAD: Investigation against former Balochistan chief minister Aslam Raisani, former federal minister Arbab Alamgir and his wife Asma Arbab will be completed soon, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said on Monday.
In a statement on Monday, the NAB chairman said that there are charges against Arbab Alamgir and his wife for amassing assets beyond their known sources of income and illegal allotment of land in Gwadar.
He said that the investigation against former chief minister Aslam Raisani for misuse of power and assets beyond his known sources of income would be completed soon with solid evidence.
The NAB chairman said his top priority was the elimination of corruption from the country, and NAB would implement zero tolerance policy to achieve this objective.
“Our highest priority is to eradicate corruption from the country,” he added.
