ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence Engr Khurram Dastagir Khan has said that Pakistan is ready to help and cooperate with Afghanistan to restore peace in the war-torn country.
According to Radio Pakistan, Khurram Dastagir Khan said that Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan; however, all issues should be resolved through dialogue process.
The defence minister said the incumbent government is making all-out efforts to completely wipe out terrorism from the country and region.
He said Pakistan had been fighting a successful war against terrorism and rendered supreme sacrifices in that regard.
He said when the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) came into power in 2013, the country was facing several issues, including energy shortage, terrorism and others, but today’s Pakistan is much better and developed.
