LAHORE: Punjab Food Authority Director General Noorul Amin Mengal on Friday stated that the authority had confiscated 115,000 litres of contaminated and substandard milk from various cities across the province.

The PFA has launched a province-wide campaign raising awareness against the sale and consumption of sub-standard milk. As part of the campaign, the PFA officials checked the quality of milk for consumption at the entry/exit points of the cities. The PFA officials also warned milkmen that they would have to face legal action if they were caught indulging in sale of sub-standard milk.
